On Sunday, August 23, 2009, Sister M. Anna Joseph Duong pronounced Perpetual Vows. Before making her profession, Sister returned to the Novitiate in June for a spiritual preparation period. Sister M. Anna Joseph pronounced Vows of Chastity, Poverty, Obedience, and a fourth Vow to devote herself to the Works of Charity embraced by our Congregation.
Parents, relatives, and friends of the Bride of Christ gathered for the ceremony, which began in the Motherhouse Chapel at 11:00 a.m. The Chancellor of Norwich, Monsignor Robert L. Brown, presided at the ceremony, during which Sister M. Anna Joseph made her final profession of vows as a Sister of Charity of Our Lady Mother of the Church.
Following the Mass, a banquet was held in Hanlon Hall. The day was filled with great jubilation as all shared in the joy of this occasion.
