Sister M. Regina, SCMC, a fifth-grade teacher at St. Patrick Cathedral School in Norwich, CT, has written and illustrated a children's book titled "The Special Tree."
About the book: "The Special Tree" is about a 10-year-old spruce tree named Bruce who lives in a pine village. He enjoys life in the forest with the other trees and the animals who surround him. The Sisters of Charity Schola has produced their first CD, titled "Heart of God". Their beloved foundress,
Mother Marie Alma LaFond, has inspired and enriched them by her love for sacred music.
This CD reflects the distinctive style of music of the Sisters of Charity, which include sacred hymns and inspirational songs. May God bless all who contribute to the promotion of this CD, in order that the love of the Heart of God fills each heart.
